Q1. When can I sign up a new student?  

A1. Click the SIGN UP section on the website. If pre-registration forms are available, it means enrollment for new students is open and you may fill it out. 

Q2. How can I sign up a new student? 

A2. On the website, please go to the SIGN UP section and find the registration form. After you fill it out, you will receive an email from leyouchinese@gmail.com with instructions for the next step. 

Q3. Can my child still enroll if they are not in the school's Chinese immersion program? 

A3. Yes. Students do not need to be in a school Chinese immersion program to enroll. Our program is designed for children who are learning Chinese outside of school and want structured guidance and consistent practice. 

Q4. We don’t speak Chinese at home. Can my child still enroll?

A4. Yes. Many of our students come from families where Chinese is not spoken at home. As long as parents are willing to support regular review and practice, children can still make great progress in the program. 

Q5. I don’t speak Chinese and can’t read Chinese characters. How can I help my child learn Chinese?

A5. Don’t worry. After each class, the teacher provides a detailed review and home practice plan with instructions in both Chinese and English. Parents can follow the English instructions to help their child review and complete the practice at home. In the early grades, parental support is helpful. As children build a stronger foundation in Chinese, they gradually develop the ability to review and complete their homework independently.
